High water table can cause lakes to overflow

Sometimes we experience high water tables from too much rain which can cause water to seep into homes when you lease expect it. What you see in the before photo is a lake that had flooded this condo. Contents need to be moved and treated for water damage and wet carpet and pad needed to be extracted and dried.In the after photo you will see SERVPRO of Alpena crew on a weighted extractor. This special piece of equipment helps push water out of carpet and pad and suck it up. Helping to dry  the carpet and pad much quicker.
